Serial Number and Software Version

The diagnostic tool serial number is located (decal) on the back of the diagnostic tool housing and under the battery pack.

It is also displayed on the Get Connected screen:

Home Screen > System Settings > Get Connected

Home Screen Software Out of Date Indicator

When your diagnostic suite software is out of date the home screen software version indicator (lower right) will change to red in color. The upper screen bar will also display a related message that is selectable. Click the message to find out how to obtain the current software version in order to keep your vehicle coverage up-to-date.

Software Version Number

To view the diagnostic software version number, select the menu icon from the lower toolbar on the Home screen and then select Help > Version Info.
